Bhagath's father is none other than director Abrid Shine the director of '1983'. Through the selection, Bhagath has realised his father's long pending dream of becoming a cricketer. Now, if you thought Bhagath (his offscreen name) played the game because his character demanded so, well, here is the surprise, the boy is quite serious about the game and has now been chosen for the tournament under 14 category. 
The little boy not only stole the show with his acting talent but played some fantastic knocks in the movie displaying his cricketing skills. Those who have watched the Malayalam blockbuster movie '1983' would never forget the bunny toothed Kannan,who played the son of the protagonist.
